twotd: glasgow

the day started off pretty normal: wet, cold, damp, depressing, boring, wet, cold, chilly, wet.......

.....first off was physics which was quite, well, boring. we spent most of the lesson listening to birke and then he made us to a fun but useless experiment, dropping small balls into water and watching them fall. and then to end the lesson with a bang we knocked our glass measuring thing off the bench, well it should have been plastic......

........then in english we actually watched the most of the romeo and juliet dvd ever, a whole 30 minutes of it!!!!!!!! and it could actually be described as not that bad........

.....and to round the day off there was geography with none other than miss service (ok!!!) need i say more? but i might as well, we spent the first ten minutes "admiring our homework" then we had to copy summin down which she read tooooo fast and then i made a valid point that (in her words 5 mins beforehand) that an influx of foreign people could lead to problems in an inner city environment, which in all fairness is true. a nd finally we watching an old women recount her fond memories of "busy, warm and good" glaswegian streets in the 1960s after service had "considerable difficulty" getting the laptop to play the dvd........
